Get Lightroom presets from the pros

On https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/lightroom-presets.html Adobe promises us how to "Get Lightroom presets from the pros".

When you follow the links ("Get your free presets") you wind up at the generic Adobe Photography Blog page ( https://blog.adobe.com/en/topics/photography).

No presets in sight...

When you do an Advanced Search on the blog page for one of the featured photographers (e.g. Greg Noire), the results page shows lots of specific hits (e.g. https://blog.adobe.com/en/publish/2019/01/17/the-style-spotlight-greg-noire.html), but when you follow that link you return to the generic Adobe Photography Blog page.

Adobe, where are the free (professional) presets you offer us?

This is a user-to-user community.

But even if the links were working, I simply wouldn't waste time downloading these presets.

OK John, I'll bite...

Why wouldn't you simply waste time downloading these presets?

Because they're a waste of money 😉

More seriously, using your own presets make sense, sometimes saving you time, other times applying a consistent look. Other people's presets might have worked on the images they applied them to, but I'd contend you don't benefit much from them.

Agree- using your own presets make 'great' sense, 🙂

If you insist, a Googly search will find thousands!

John and Rob,

Thanks for your contributions.

But, as an experienced Lightroom user (you couldn't possibly know), I'd like to steer away from further discussing the points you made (however valid they may be), and redirect to my original question (and I'll rephrase for the community instead of for Adobe):

Does anybody know where I can find the Lightroom presets Adobe is offering on the referenced pages?

Thanks in advance!

So, having just gone to Adobe Blog I note the site has changed appearance to my last recollection.

The links for Presets do not work for me also. Only 'Creative' sites are available.

Give up on your quest.

"Professional" presets are no more 'professional' than any other preset that you or I can create. They are simply recorded combinations of the adjustments available in the Develop/Edit modules of Lightroom. Admittedly some may look better, but a 'look' is always subjective.

Even looking in the Desktop App at 'Stock & Marketplace' seemed a trial trying to find presets (that I could not!).

I am still with the advice from John Beardy.
