healing/cloning/removal tool stopped working

Community Beginner ,

I got the healing tool to work in part of my photo but as I try to erase dirt smudged on the wall it refuses to cover it. Whether I use generative AI, plain removal, heal or clone tools. The app is completely up to date & even restarted my pc & the app several times. It always seems to act up on Sundays.... which happens to be the  only day I have most availability to edit photos 😞

I just found it was from another mask that was copied & pasted from another photo! LOL

Make sure the tool's opacity is not set to a low number - you want 100% on the Opacity Slider.

There is not an opacity option for the generative AI or removal tool, in my lightroom app.

After you paint a remove stroke, the Opacity Controls will appear in the "Selected" Subpanel.
