When I edit photos, they looked like they have been stretched out width wise.  I can not figure out how to correct it.

Hey there,

We're sorry for the trouble with Lightroom. We need more details to help you.

What version of Lightroom Classic and Windows are you using?

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of what's happening?

Do you want a specific size or specific aspect ratio when you resize? What are you getting that is not correct?

Does this happen with any specific image or with all the images?

To shrink photos back to their original size in Lightroom, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Lightroom and select the photo you want to resize.
  2. Go to the Develop module by clicking on the Develop tab.
  3. If you have cropped the photo, you can reset the crop by selecting the Crop Overlay tool (press R) and then clicking on the Reset button in the Crop panel.
  4. To ensure the photo is at its original size, you can also check the Image Size settings when exporting. Go to File > Export and in the export dialog, make sure to set the dimensions to match the original size or select Resize to Fit and specify the original dimensions.
  5. If you want to maintain the original aspect ratio, ensure that the Don’t Enlarge option is checked when exporting.
  6. Click Export to save the photo at its original size.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Shivani
