How to delete photos under "Recent" in Creative Cloud Home?

Lightroom somehow uploaded some of my photos to Creative Cloud  (I did not want to upload anything to Creative Cloud ).  According to my account, I am using 380 MB of Creative Cloud Storage - so those photos must be somewhere. I see them listed on the Creative Cloud page under "Home." (The are under the sub-head "Recent.") They do not appear any where in "Your Work." I want to delete them - but there is no option to delete these. Are they there permanently???

Hi there,

Your Lightroom photos may have gotten uploaded here. Please sign in with your Adobe ID to check.

Photo Editor | Online Photoshop Lightroom

If this is the case, you can delete them by clicking on the LR logo in the top left of the page and going to Account Info. In there is an option there to delete your Lightroom library which will remove the files being online and free up your storage use.

Hope that helps,

Update: I tried to ask this question in Adobe Customer Support chat. Adobe has been thanking me for my patience for the past hour. It's really unfortunate that Adobe makes customers place the burden of support questions on its other customers, and I'm sorry to have to do this.  But I am hoping that there is a simple answer that more experienced users will be able to share with me.  Thanks, all.

Assuming that you use Lightroom, which version do you use?

Lightroom CC (on Desktop, Mobile or Web) will upload everything to the Cloud unless you have sync paused. Lightroom Classic will only upload photos in Synced Collections, and even then, these will be lower res Smart Previews.

If you use Lightroom CC and delete photos, they will be removed from all synced devices (except Lightroom Classic, if they have synced down to there), so ensure you have a back up of them.
