Question

How to filter photos for syncing to the cloud?

I'm new on Lightroom CC, but it seems there is no option to define what to sync to the cloud. Even already rejected photos are getting synced, what doesn't make any sense, neither a backup of this photos is needed nor I want to work with them on a mobile device... but I want to keep them on my local storage.

Right now it is destroying my first positive impression of this great product.

This also actually prevents me, to migrate my 5 TB Lightroom Classic Catalog to this new version.

Please help me, I hope there is a solution, otherwise, Lightroom CC will be useless to me.

okay, within the Lightroom Classic version a selective sync will be possible by defined collections.
Within Lightroom (cloud-based) everything is getting synced. This means I need to extend the my abo plan, to get Lightroom Classic included as well and I have to vote the feature request.  :-)

Everything Imported is synced to the Cloud.

There is no Selective Sync but you can add your vote here as a feature request:
