Question

How to search photos by date in Lightroom Desktop or browser?

I like to download photos taken in the past few weeks, so I can have them as my slideshow screensaver. But I can't see how to drag and select photos, or search by date. I have only figured out how to show photos for a particular day or whole month.

Is there a way to show photos taken between two dates or the last 2 weeks? Currently I am downloading all from November but I will be deleting all the ones up to the 12th as I already used those last time. It would save bandwidth and time to be able to search by date and just download the more recent ones.

It would also be good to be able to select them all, then export as small JPGs, which again will save time and bandwidth. At the moment I have to create a share link to open a page for the photos, then select them all, then download.

I would like to be able to do this on Lightroom CC on my Windows laptop, plus Lightroom in Google Chrome on a MacBook. Which seem to be the same thing.

Thanks.

Look in the left-hand column under the 'My Photos' heading for the ability to sort By Date.
