I can't edit certain photos

When I want to edit a photo this message appears:

"Could not open an editable version of the photo. Please come back and try again."

So I can't edit almost any photo, it should be noted that I have the paid version. I need help!

Please make sure Lr has write permission to the location/folder where the photo is located and the file itself is not write protected.
