I can't see my photos windows 10

I took a few photos last night and went to edit them, but the photos were not showing up. I was able to import my photos but I cannot view them even using the last and most current update. I tried using the guidelines for the HDR and I still couldn't view the picture. Does anyone knows what is going on? I've tried changing where the photos were and opened up photos that I have previously edited.

    Are you using Lightroom or Lightroom-Classic?

    Explain "I cannot view them" a bit more.

    What has HDR to do with your viewing problem?

    Where were you photos?

    I was using regular lightroom. I can import my photos but when I click the
    image to edit, nothing shows up. When i was doing the hdr example it was
    going through all of the steps but I could not see the image.
