Import to Lightroom Mobile iPad cannot connect to Nikon Z8

I am trying to connect my new Z8 to lightroom on my iPad to import photos. I connect to the Z8 wifi from my iPad. I then start Lr on my iPad (Lr 12.4, iOS 16.5.1). When I try and select camera in device, I get a "No connected camera device found." message. Not sure if this is a bug or I am missing some step. Has anyone successfully done this or have an idea of what I may be doing wrong?
