Importing only photos (not video)

in Lightroom Classic I was able to alt-click while selecting images in the import dialogue box and I'd get the option to only select photos for import. This was incredibly handy, as I never want videos in Lightroom. On the new CC version, as far as I can tell, this option is not there. This means slowly scrolling through hundreds of thumbnails trying to find the videos. This takes a lot of time and I always miss a few. Does anyone know a good workaround or if I have missed something? Thanks.

When you add Photos (when you get the blue bars up), tap the three dots to select media.

Thanks for this! I'm new to Lr Classic and was looking for a way to select only photos. Your question about LrCC provided an answer to my question about LrC!

When you import, you get the computer‘s operating system window appear. Sort in there by file type and select just the photos.

    Agreed though, it’s not ideal.

I stumbled upon that solution on my desktop last night after the import dialogue for my card failed to load. It is definitely a good workaround, but unfortunately isn't an option on the iPad/Phone.

Does anyone know of a way to do it in iOS? I would like to use my iPad as my main import device, as it is always with me and is much more responsive than my aging Mac Mini.

    Thanks.
