When I'm in my library, without filtering I'd like to see which photos I've already rated or flagged...but I'm not able to do this. Is there a way to see the metadata within the view of the entire library without filtering? I need this so badly! I'm on a Mac.

You are "on a Mac" and which Lightroom App?

If it is Lightroom-'Desktop' (currently v6.0) then the [G] keyboard key toggles the Grid View, one view has the Flag & Star Rating-

Or choose from the 'Square Grid' icon-
