Lightroom becomes slow after i used a mask

i was editing a photo. i started out with masking my subject and as i was masking the program started to become slower and slower to the point where i had to wait maybe a minut for it to respond. i then finally got it all masked as i wanted but it kept on not really reacting to any edits i wanted to make it would just lag alot and i would still have to wait for it to actually do what i wanted it to do.

it is really only that one photo that is cause the most problem the other photos arent as slow (they have become a little laggy after THE photo started to lag) but its hard to even do a little work

i did try to look a bit online but nothing seems to work since everything else in lightroom is rather normal

my best guess is that the mask is too much but i have made other masks before in photos

Threads merged. You created a new thread rather than requesting that the original be moved.

Please show us the system information from LrC Help->System Info, down to the GPU information, we don't need and don't want anything after that.

So you are not using Lightroom Classic, you are using Lightroom, and you need to post this in the Lightroom (Ecosystem) forum.
