When I tried to open Lightroom a message states that the catalog could not be found.  I have changed nothing sine opening the last time.  Help?

First of all, this seems a Lightroom Classic (or earlier) problem, not a problem with Lightroom CC the cloud based version.

You say you changed nothing, but apparently you did change something. This could be 'unrelated' to Lightroom however (at least that's what you'd think). Maybe you renamed, moved or trashed a folder, and didn't realise that your Lightroom catalog is somewhere in that folder or in a subfolder.

The Lightroom catalog as the ".lrcat" file extension, so you may be able to find it by searching your computer for that extension.
