Lightroom CC Mobile Syncing Local storage Cache?

On my iPad and iPhone I have local storage and cached files there.  What happens if I clear the cache?  Do I lose the raw files on my desktop in Lightroom Classic?

Clear cache will purge cached files which are already backed-up on the cloud -  on your mobile device only. This is a local device operation and has no impact on you desktop machine. Hope this answers your question. - Guido/ Lr Mobile QE
