Lightroom CC sync problems - Completely stuck

I've only just started using Lightroom and it has pretty much revolutionised my workflow....when I can get it to work. I loaded 1750 photos the other day - 1500 of them synced fine, but the other 200+ completely refuse to sync. It tries, then comes up with a big error saying Lightroom needs to restart. If I pause syncing, it'll work for a minute or two then say it can't export a photo because it doesn't access the original file....so I have to enable syncing again...and around and around we go.

All of the photos were imported into Lightroom originally. I even tried disabling my internet connection, but Lightroom refused to load the photos, saying I needed to be online to do so. Then it restarted just to sum my night up.

Is there any way to use Lightroom offline?? I just want to edit my photos, I don't need to share them between devices.

Please someone help me. There's a cookie in it for you.

    Hi Rickd1902950,

We're really sorry to hear that about the issue you're facing with Lightroom CC while syncing and editing  images.

Could you please let us know the version of Lightroom CC app you're working on and where have you imported the images from?

Try syncing a smaller batch of images, say 300 and check if the app behaves the same way. How much storage space is the app showing up in the top right drop-down menu?

Image result for lightroom cc storage space

My recommendation to work offline on your images is to use Lightroom Classic CC as it is a catalog based app and the images don't need to be synced before you edit them. Take a look at this discussion for reference: Work Offline in Lightroom CC
