Lightroom Cloud syncing issue

Question

I have recently started using Photoshop in conjunction to Lightroom to edit my photos. I initially edit in lightroom, move the image to photoshop for further editing, then save the image in photoshop (which then provides me with a copy in lightroom when i return). However it is these extra copies that are being left out when being synced to my mobile app. However on the desktop app, it says 'syncing 16 photos', however it has been a few days and there has been no progress. Can anyone help me?

Upload to the cloud can sometimes be slow because a tiff file is saved back into Lightroom CC and these are usually quite large files. Although not days. If you keep the desktop application open are the blue spinning circles finished indicating upload to the cloud has finally syncd? Only when upload is complete can download to devices take place.
