Hello,

Since a while my Lightroom keeps crashing. It starts with pop up screen, and then it says it is still offline and it crashes immediatly when the pop up screen disappears. I've really tried a lot of things, searched online but nothing does work. I have the feeling that it thinks I have no license or something and closes because of that but I do have a valid license for that (from school). Here are the things I've tried:

Lots of reboots (also during the following things so that is not the problem)

Logged out and logged in again

Delete LR and installed again

Delete Creative Cloud and installed again

Updated all of my drivers

Deleted some folders which I saw people did in some articles like temp, SLstore, SLcache, OOBE

Windows was up to date

Made a other Windows personal account on my computer and opened it there, still same issue

Opened the app offline, then turned wifi back on and logged in, but after login it closes

These are the things I've found in this forum and on google but I still have the issue

Version 6.3.1

Windows 11 22H2

Is there someone here that can help me?

Many thanks in advance 🙂

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

Thank you for answering. I do not receive a crash dialog. It just closes and goes away. I see that it is in the video not good enough visible. I use my school mail adress that is linked with the subscription, so I don't think that is the problem. If I use Lightroom on a other device it works as it should be, but on my laptop it does not work.

Please verify your laptop meets the minimum system requirements found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/system-requirements.html

If you laptop meets the minimum specs then attempt a preference file reset:

This procedure works for both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop.

If you are using Lightroom Desktop it can change the location of your local storage. Please review this setting after resetting preferences.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.

2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.

3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.

4. Close Lightroom.

5. Restart Lightroom.
