Lightroom crashes on Windows

I work with LR latest version on a Asus Vivobook Pro (Windows).

after hardly a minute the program crashes. Even only by scrolling through images in grid view (local).

after a minute it comes online again but it keeps on crashing.

I also have Bridge installed. Scrolling through images gives no problems. Was thinking Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 is root cause but crashing keeps happening even after shutting of GPU in LR settings.

Any ideas what causes this? have deleted and re-installed LR many times.

Thanks for adding the system info. I couldn't find crash reports submitted with the account you've signed in to the community with. If you see a crash dialogue, submit it with your Adobe ID. Check here for more steps: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html

Try these steps to get Lightroom to behave as expected:

In the System info you've shared, the drivers for the NVIDIA RTX 4060 Laptop GPU device are 32.0.15.5597, which can also be read as 555.97, which is slightly older. That may have caused the crash. The current version of Graphics drivers is 580.97 (12th August).

Please update to the latest version of GPU drivers from the Nvidia app and follow the troubleshooting steps here: https://adobe.ly/45yOliy

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!
