Lightroom desktop 3.3 slow while working with images stored on the cloud

Downloaded new version a couple of days ago, I have a lot of images which are now on the cloud

( don't really want that but that is another issue ) Now the process of editing in photoshop has become tediously slow or does'nt happen at all.When I veiw image in full size in Lightroom the image is heavily pixelated.......annoying !

Any suggestions about the process ?

    Hi Barry,

     

    Sorry that acessing your images on Lightroom Cloud and editing them in Photoshop has made it slow to operate.

     

    Which exact version of Photoshop are you using to edit from Lightroom 3.3? 

     

    A couple of things to try:

     

    • Does the behavior show the same lag when you disable the GPU in preferences? (Preferences> uncheck "use graphics processor")
    • Does resetting the preference file help the cause?
    1. Close Lightroom.
    2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
    3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
    4. Close Lightroom.
    5. Restart Lightroom.

     

    Let us know the outcome.

    Note: A Preference File will survive a Lightroom uninstall/reinstall. Sometimes weird behavior is corrected/cured by resetting the preferences.

    Hi Barry,

    If you don't want your photos in the cloud you should use Lightroom Classic instead of Lightroom.
