Lightroom desktop: Home screen blank with no images

Hi there!

Today, all of my photos from my Lightroom CC desktop app disappeared. On the online version, however, all the photos can be found. I use the desktop app on a Mac, and for a few days now, I had some ongoing problems with syncing to the cloud as well. I'm really worried that the photos I worked with just disappeared, and I hope you can help me with how to restore them.

Hi there,

 

Sorry that Lightroom desktop does not show your images and the homescreen stays blank.

 

You can resolve this issue by signing out and then signing in again. 

  1. From the menu bar, choose Help > Sign Out.
  2. Lightroom will now restart. 
  3. Sign in with your Adobe ID again when prompted.

I also tried this, but nothing happened and the screen still stayed blank.

Please reinstall the application from the Creative Cloud desktop app and let us know if that helps?

Akash, will we lose our edits etc when we reinstall? I am also having this exact issue starting 4 days ago.
