Lightroom Downloader finds files that were deleted but cannot download them because they don't exist

When I use the Lightroom Downloader, the report lists many files with the message "Requested download not found" (translated from the German version). Besides these files are stated as "type: video", which is not correct. When I search for these files, I find that they are photos that have been deleted. I still find them on my memory card, but not in Lightroom, and I remember that I deleted them deliberately. So there must be records in the database without content, and they become more and more over time. How can I delete these records? And how does it happen? I assume that it happens when I quit Lightroom while the upload hasn't finished, which can occur due to slow internet speed when I can't wait for the upload to complete. Or when I delete photos while others are still uploading, which is a normal behavior.

If you go to https://lightroom.adobe.com and view the account what does the cloud say about these phantom files?  Do they show up in the Sync Issues album?

Do you see them in LrWeb's Deleted folder?

Thanks for reporting back. I will advise the Downloader team. Just as an FYI, your OS is getting to be old and will likely be deprecated in a couple of months if past history is any indication. Are you able to update?

Thanks for the advice! I cannot update my OS on the old hardware, that's a pity. I will wait as long as possible and then buy a new Mac.

I've having same issue with Lightroom Downloader Version 1.0.5-20220504.116-64f8d2b on MacOS 14.2.1 (Sonoma).   LR is version 7.    I deleted thousands of iPhone photos (that are already stored in Apple Photos) ahead of using the Downloader;  I permanently deleted the photos; web view and app both show 0 deleted.

Both the app and the web view agree that sync is complete and that there are 38053 photos using 488.3 GB.

However when I run Downloader,  it reports

Your Lightroom account contains 46,841 photos, 359 videos, 10,089 deleted photos, and 170 deleted videos totaling 562.5 GB. Choose a download destination that has enough free space to hold these files

I haven't tried downloading yet, I have to clear some space locally, I'm assuming it will proceed and at the least download the files I have not deleted.
