Lightroom Failed to initialize due to an internal error

Hi community

Just wondering if anyone can help me out here

When my colleague loads/runs Lightroom, this error comes up 

Lightroom failed to initalize due to an internal error

login server error 'server_error': Token based access account GET http status 500 error: while (1) {}

{"code":2000,"description":"Unexpected server error"}

I was able to get around this by turning wifi off, but now it asks for wifi to be turned on and displays the above error code.

Have updated/reinstalled etc with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
