I am trying to activate the premium features on my Lightroom mobile app for IOS and keep getting a message saying "Unable to Complete Purchase." How do I solve this issue?

Hi, I had a chat with adobe rep. The $4.99 plan through i-tunes is discontinued, and you have to buy a new $9.99 plan through adobe. There is a 7 day free trial too.

Having the same issue. I have tried signing out and signing in. And doing it with the apple ID signing renewal solution. It hasn't worked so far. Also tried restarting my iPad

I am having the same exact issue. When I click restore purchases, the circle starts circling but nothing happens. My subscription is through Apple and is active, but the Lightroom mobile app says it expired. I tried deleting the app, turning my phone off and on, reinstalling the app. Still the same issue. Please help

Hi Frank,

Could you try a "Restore Purchases" via the Lr Mobile settings, which can be triggered via the top left Lr-icon in albums view and when you then tab on the first account-entry.

If you still see the problem try to sign-out from iTunes&App Store via the iOS settings. Just tab the navigate to iTunes&App Store and long-tab your apple id which brings up the option to sign-out.

Afterwards start the renewal process from within LrMobile again and once prompted add your apple-id and credentials.  Hope this helps. - Guido/ Lr Mobile QE

Can't activate the subscription for Lightroom for iOS. Have tried both restarting and restore purchases. Quite disappointed with this.

Have you tried to sign-out via iOS settings and restart the Lr purchase?

  1. Sign-out via iOS settings->iTunes&appstore->then start the Lr purchase process again. Once prompted, sign-in with the Apple-id and finish the process with final OK confirmation.
  2. In addition run a "Restore Purchases" from the Lr Mobile settings.

Let me know if that helps.

It works! Thank you. It was the part with sign-out via ios settings and then go into lightroom and start over the purchase-proces that made it work.

I made the mistake of sign-in right away in the ios settings before.

Do you know why people have this problem? It seems kind of strange.
