My GPU is 7900XTX also working with the latest drivers that released today.
I did a clean reinstall of the drivers with DDU. I reinstalled Lighroom more than once.
No change at all.
My lightroom is broken for a couple of months now. I cant work like this at all.
I would really appericiate the help.
Thank you

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.
Did you see a crash dialog?
Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?
Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

Sadly the program hangs up itself, so no crash dialog.
My Lightroom easily crashed over 50 times in the last 4 months and there is not a single report on the email?
I already posted the Microsoft ones above.

No crashes under 7.2 - unless you have an alternate email to try.

Go to your Start Button, type "winver" and report back the version number that appears, please.

Thanks looks like it meets spec. Thank you.
At this point, I would investigate AMD. I've seen reports recently that the latest driver has a few issues, and folks are successfully reverting a version or two. Is that possible?

While this is possible I dont really want to revert.
So you think the problem lies on AMDs side?

I have no evidence other than other customer's anecdotal reports over the past week.
Other than reverting your driver and evaluating, the process goes like this for the next steps:
Close Lightroom
Restart your machine
Open Lightroom
Induce failure
Collect diagnostic log
I think those next steps are premature to verifying the previous failure on both the current version of the driver and a prior version of the driver.

Ok if I can manage to get a crash report from Lightroom itself I will come back.
Thank you for your time
