Lightroom Library

Is it possible to move the Lightroom Library (Lightroom CC) into a external drive form the computer to have more place ?

The Library has to stay on the local disc.

 

You can store a copy of the Originals elsewhere but cannot move the Library itself.

I run mine in that way all the photos are on a SAN and the library is on the local disk, works really well as you can browse even if the SAN is disconnected which for me happens a lot as I allow devices to sleep. All you need to do is reconnect in Finder (I use a MAC) and the originals are accessable again.
