In the past, I have been able to connect my Canon R6 and or connect a card reader directly to my phone or iPad Pro and hit the add images Button. It would then access the card or camera and show me all the thumbnails as a preview that I can select to import. For the past month or so all of the images are great out, so I cannot see the preview. I can select them, but I cannot see them.when I connect my device or card reader to my laptop, there is no problem. My workflow includes on the go editing and it's very convenient to be able to do this on my phone and or iPad Pro.

I have since having this issue deleted like remote and reinstalled and I have gotten a new phone which has reinstalled. I also have the codec from normal raw to Craw just to see if there was a difference and there is not.

Standard raw images from your device should be supported.  Are you possibly capturing compressed raw images?  I have seen various reports on various camera makes/models where compressed raw does not show.  Still, if you proceed to import, I think Adobe Camera Raw (which Lightroom uses to process images) should most likely be able to render visible thumbs inside the Lightroom app.

I will definitely take a look on the camera settings but I changed the settings from Normal Raw to Canons compressed raw to see if there was a difference and there was not. I switched it back to normal raw since then. This problem is affecting my IPhone 15 Pro Max and my IPad Pro 12.9".  I have also looked at possible updated to my camera but it just randomly started happening without change.  Thank you again for your time

I will send you direct message to ask for a sample file, if you can zip up and share one with me.

Hello @nunez222

TL;DR Without paid service, Lighroom Mobile cannot import or edit Raw images.

It seems that you have an educational plan provided by a school.  Lightroom Mobile is not always provided even if you are getting Lightroom desktop app/service provided.  You will need to confirm with your school plan administrator if you actually are entitled to Lightroom Mobile Premium service.

The free version of Lighroom Mobile cannot import or edit Raw images.

Hello, I see you do now have an EDU account and a personal account under the same email address, and both accounts are subscribed.  I also see that the personal account has some data uploaded.  Does that mean you got this working or you still need help?  When signing into Lightroom Mobile you must choose your personal account to edit Raw images.

If you still need help, you might try reaching out to Adobe Support directly via chat  at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
...and in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
