Lightroom on Desktop will not delete photos!

I can not get photos to delete! The most it will do is move images to the "deleted" folder, but is not fully deleting them even after I select "perminately delete". Images will go dark and I am unable to select them,.... but they will NOT delete. I'm on wifi. I've tried redownloading the app on my desktop and it still will not work. So frustrating, and is slowing my work flow.

Please go to Help>System Info… and get us the exact installed version number of your software.

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to clean things up and it's not working. It's very frustrating, lots of grayed out pics. I'm on Mac using desktop and I've tried doing it through the web and not working there, either.
