Lightroom V. 10 duplcating images upon import

I just downloaded Lightroom V. 10 recently on my Mac and now all of my images are duplicated upon import.  I have the same problem with 2 different cameras so I believe the issue is with Lightroom.  Has anyone else had this problem?
