Question

LR put the disk in "Volume" at the root of my mac

Hello a tutti

Although my hard drive is connected the images are not online
When I click on the bullet point I get this message
"DSC_2153.NEF" could not be used because the original file cannot be found. Do you want to search for it?
But when I search for it my hard drive looks like a file with a white "-" on a red background
So I have to go to "volume" to find my external hard drive with the normal design
It's like the system created a new little partition and named it Disk_5 so LR thinks the files are on it and for LR Disk_5 is where the files should be.
LR put the disk in "Volume" at the root of my mac
This happened on 08.07
Do you understand my problem, do you know how to get it back to the way it was before, is it related to an automatic update?
I'm not sure if it's related to the automatic update or not.

Thank you for your help

David

PS: this is a translation because I speak French

Right-click on that Volume folder and choose 'Hide This Parent'. Then restart Lightroom. Your disk should now be a disk again.

You have to do this in the Lightroom Classic folder panel!
