I have an iPhone 12 Pro - with 53 GB storage available and running LR Ver 7.2.8 & iOS 15.3.1. I have had this issue for the past few months. Every time I start to edit with the healing tool - the brush stroke freezes as a red dot on the screen and the app crashes. Can anyone assist with this? The other editing tools seem to be working without issue. I have also tried restarting my phone, and the issue is persistent.

Hi,

Have you tried to force quitting all apps and then restarting the device too?

Does this happen when you drag the finger slowly too?
What kind of images are you editing when this occurs?
Is there a difference in behaviour between Raw and e.g. JPG/HEIC?

It would be great if we could see the issue in a screen recording.
Wondering how large the size of the stroke is.

Have you tried to turn off the red dot by going to
settings/Gesture Shortcuts/Show touches? Just curious if it behaves differently.

Thanks,
Ignacio
