LR4.4 PNG import

Hi

I'm using LR 4.4 and it does not seem to import all image types. One of the main ones I am trying to import is PNG. Is this file type supported and if so, how do I get it to import them as there does not seem to be anywhere you can chose which file types to look for.

No, Lr4.4 does not support the PNG format, that support was only added in Lightroom 5.

Thanks Jim, I have figured out a workaround using bridge. Not the most elegant thing but it will have to do. Thanks again.
