MacBook Pro Max Brush not working

The brush tool is not working properly. not allowing me to brush in simple strokes. The radial tool is also not permitting me to resize with twitching. This is in lightroom desktop. Ive included a viedo showing the brushing tool problem.

    What version are you running? Did you do the most recent update? Have you quit and reopened the app?

    Heres a screenshot of my creative cloud updates tab. still version 5.1 

     

     

     

     


    Well, I don't know why that is happening, but version 5.1 is definitely not the latest version. What you could try is uninstalling Lightroom and then reinstalling Lightroom.
