Meeting system requirements but still not allowed to download..

As far as I can tell, I fulfill all requirements to download and run Lightroom desktop on my PC but Adobe tells me that I dont meed the system requirements.

All of my parts are on the newest drivers and updates as far as I am aware but when I try to download lightroom, I get told that I am unable to because "Update Required: Review the system requirements below and update your operating system to install the most recent version of Lightroom. Or, install Lightroom Classic ."

Lightroom Classic also gives me the same error, which doesn't make any sense at all as those requirements are even softer. Lightroom runs just fine on my junk laptop that I have, which is significanly less powerful that my PC.

If someone has any information as to why I would be getting this error, that would be much appreciated.

Here are my current specs for refference:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor 3.70 GHz

AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT
RAM 32.0 GB DDR4 3600

Samsung SSD 980 Pro 2TB (with over a TB left of space)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Most likely you need to update the operating system (Windows), not the hardware.

The requirements according to the website is "Windows 10 (64 bit) version 22H2 or later"

My computer is running on the latest update of 22H2 64 bit, the only update further than this that I could do is upgrading to Windows 11, which I would rather not do. Is there anything else that might be causing it?

I see you are using a .edu email address. Have you spoken to your institution's Adobe Admin to see what your account is allowed to do?

I reviewed by institutes restrictions and found that my liscence is restriced to two devices. I have the program installed on my laptop and a now broken computer, so I didn't even think to remove the liscence. I belive that this was the reason it wasn't allowing me to download the apps, thanks for bringing this to my attention!
