Merging (flattening) masks in Lightroom

I'm new to LR, but had been using PS a while back. Would be nice if we could drag one edit ontop of the other in masking mode to merge or flatten them as one. Perhaps there's one, but I can't find it.

Which version of Lightroom are you using? Are you looking for any presets that you can apply? 

Photoshop contains a dizzying array of filters, brushes, and other tools that allow you to perform edits and changes to your images. But more than that, Photoshop operates by letting you create different layers on which your amendments occur. However, it is uncommon for a digital artist to use dozens of layers when editing an image. Lightroom, by contrast, works in a much more linear fashion with no layers, fewer editing tools, and less overall flexibility. 

Yes, the masking tool in Lightroom can work as layers if we know how to overlap them correctly, but its functionality will not be similar to layers in Photoshop.
