I am very new to Lightroom. Have set my PS preferences for raw files to 300ppi. When I open a Nikon NEF file in LR CC and then select edit in Photoshop, it always opens as 240ppi.  I can't find settings in LR to change this.  Would appreciate guidance.

Cannot be changed. The default is 240ppi.

Why is PPI important to you?

Changing the PPI does not change the 'Pixel' dimensions of an image.

Changing the PPI does not change the 'Quality' or 'Resolution' of an image.

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.

Thanks. I understand what you're saying about pixels and quality. Guess I'm just used to 300ppi.
