Missing Camera Profiles - LR Classic CC (8.0)

I'm on a MacBook Pro running lr classic cc 8.0

Is anyone else missing their profiles? The only one showing is Matrix.

I am missing adobe standard, camera faithful, camera landscape etc. I am also missing the VSCO profiles.

I have a hard drive connected to my wife's MacBook Pro running classic cc 7.0 and the profiles are working as they should.

    Hi randys,

Could you please take a look at this FAQ article How to install Presets and Profiles in Lightroom CC and check out the section related to VSCO profiles and let us know if that helps?

    Thanks,

    Akash

Hi Akash, thanks for the reply. looks like I posted in the wrong forum. The profiles are fine in lightrooom CC but are missing in lightroom classic. My guess is something happened after the presets were converted to xmp??

I have solved the issue. Lightroom had user permission issues and could not reach the folder with the profiles. Normally when I encounter permission issues Lightroom gives an error to open.

Anyways, I have followed the procedure here Solutions to Adobe Lightroom Lightroom user permission issues on launch

Now I have access to all my profiles again.
