In detail view, a user can access thumbnails. When selecting multiple thumbnails, any changes should apply to all the thumbnails.
Example: Select a number of photos and give them a star rating.
This works perfectly. All photos have the star rating applied.
Bug: Select a number of photos and change info (Date, Time, Title, GPS, Caption, etc).
This does not work. Only the first image has the info changed.

Hi @Another Madala,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand what you are seeing. Only Star ratings, flags, and color labels can be applied to multiple selected images and edit settings. However, metadata fields such as Date, Time, Title, Caption, and GPS edits do not currently apply to all selected images in Detail View. Only the active image is affected by the change in the selection. This is expected behavior in the current version of Lightroom.
Regards,
Anshul Saini

That makes no sense whatsoever, and even then it's inconcistent.
If you have multiple photos selected in detail view, using OPTION-Click and selecting a star rating or flag, this affects all the photos. If you use the stars or flag below the image, it only affects one.
Multiple selected photos should allow metadata (Date/Time/Title/Caption/GPS) to be applied to all. There is no indication that this isn't happening.
