I'm brand new to Lightroom and running the latest version, 6.5 on a Mac. I am in the "Add photos" section and would like to start to print. I don't see a Print tab at the top and nothing happens when I press "command P." How do I navigate to the Print section? Thanks!
Lightroom v6.5 (Cloud based) does not have a Print Module/Tab. (That is a Lightroom-Classic feature.)
Unfortunately, old videos (Youtube, etc) still exist for the 'old' Lightroom version that is now called Lightroom-Classic.
You will need to Share/Export a derivative image file to a local hard-drive and then use other software/app to print the image.
If you have Photoshop installed, then you could [Edit In Photoshop] and print from Photoshop.

You fell for Adobe's extremely confusing marketing. What they now call Lightroom (indeed version 6.5) is not actually the latest version of what used to be called Lightroom. It is a port of the version of Lightroom for iPhones and Androids to desktop operating systems and it misses many features that what used to be called Lightroom (now called Lightroom Classic) used to have. Thanks very much Robb. That clarifies it, and it sounds like Lightroom Classic is clearly the better app for me. I bought the Photography Plan which was supposed to include Lightroom Classic. But when I try to access that app it asks me to buy or start a new free trial would you know where I go to fix this?

Lightroom (i.e. the port of the mobile version - Cloudy for short) can for example not print at all without going through a circumtuitous route with other software. The current version of the 'real' Lightroom - Lightroom Classic is at version 12.5 and can do all those things you see in the videos. Lightroom Cloudy has one extremely useful feature which is that all your devices (including iPhones, iPads, android tablets, Macs, PCs) will have all your photos on it and they will look the same because Cloudy stores all images in the cloud. Classic keeps all your images locally. You can sync to the cloud from Classic but the results are different and not like Cloudy where it always looks and behaves the same everywhere.

Thanks. That explains a lot. To keep my options open I bought the Photography Plan which was supposed to include Lightroom Classic. But when I try to access that app it asks me to buy or start a new free trial. Would you know how I fix this? I'm still on the free trial, so I suppose I could cancel and then buy again, but the same thing could happen again.

Are you installing it through the creative cloud app? Are you logged in correctly in the creative cloud app? If you bought the photography plan it should include Classic, Photoshop and cloudy I believe but you need to install them through the creative cloud app. I don't really know how the free trial works though and I suppose it is possible that you are on the Lightroom Cloudy only photography plan which is $9.99/month. Adobe even named the plans confusingly! You want the left or middle one on this page: https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography/compare-plans.html so check which one you are on. You can do this by clicking on the little nose-like icon on the top right of the creative cloud app window and selecting Adobe account. If you are on the wrong one, you will need to contact Adobe to get it changed.

Problem solved! I finally found my way to Adobe's automated Chat, which connected me with a live agent. He took over my computer and solved the problem in a matter of minutes.
