Negative Lab Pro converted files

Community Beginner ,

Hello

I have successfully migrated a few thousand files from LrClassic to LrCloud. A few hundred are scans of negatives that were converted, processed and edited to positive using the Negatio Lab Pro plugin in LrClassic.
As shown in the attached screen capture, these files are not correctly displayed with the error/ caution stating:

"The profile "Negative Lab v2.3" that was applied to this photo isn't available on this device and will be changed if you continue editing. To edit the image and keep "Negative Lab v2.3", please open and edit the photo on the device you originally edited this photo on."

Is there a fix I can apply to this problem?

This is a screen capture from iOS LrCloud, but the same incorrect rendering is seen in the windows LrCloud program.

If NLP processing edits donnot transfer from LrClassic to LrCloud, why don't these files scanned as negatives show as converted to positive in LrCloud but with such distorted colors etc.

Is there a way to "properly" import these converted files forom the LrClassic catalog to the LrCloud ecosystem?

Thanks

Try this- Run Lightroom (v6.5 Cloud based) on your Windows PC, Import the (missing "Negative Lab v2.3") profile from the Profile browser menu [...]

Look in {C:\ ProgramData \ Adobe \ CameraRaw \ Settings \ } for the 'Third Party' Profile.

Thank you!

This worked.

I found the files located at C:\User\...\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles

No files actually named as "Negative Lab v2.3", but a bunch of camera profiles. I imported them all, and presto!

I have an update to this puzzle.

Althought the files render properly on LrCloud program on the PC where the Negative Lab Pro profiles were loaded as described in my previous post, these files do not display properly on the LrCloud iOS app or the Lighroom/Adobe website.

I am assuming this is a preview display issue since if the file where the colors are all strange is exported from LrCloud iOS, the exported file look fine. Also, long pressing on an image in the develop module forces a refresh and the file is rendered properly - however, this refresh does not "stick", in that the next time the app is opened the file is again displayed incorrectly.

I have tried purging the cache on the iOS Lr apps and even removing and reinstalling app in hopes of getting new/proper previews imported but no luck. Also, this does not expalin the improper renderings on the Lightroom/Adobe website.

I have also tried "tweaking" the Negative Lab Pro edited files in the develop module on LrCloud on the PC, again hoping new previews would be generated but this has not been the case.

So, I'm rather stuck. The Negtive Lab Pro processed files look OK on the LrCloud program on the PC, but nowhere else.

I can't think of what else to do short of deleteing all these 100s of files from LrCloud and re-exporting them from LrClassic, this time with the NLP profiles already in place within LrCloud.

I hope someone can offer a better remedy.

Thanks

I know 'of' Negtive Lab Pro, but not 'about' it, so cannot offer much more advice. It is a bit above my "pay grade".

Is it possible that NLP also needs Presets (along with the profile) to correctly dislpay NLP edited images? If so, would presets need to be also imported to the Lr-mobile iOS app?
