NIKON Z8 RAW IMAGES NOT SUPPORTED OR DAMAGED

Hi - I have recently bought a new Nikon Z8 and taken the first few photos. Hvae then uploaded to macbook via NX studio. I can see the photos there but when I try to add to Lightroom CC it says the raw images cannot be added as file is damaged or not supported. I must be missing something? Can anyone help?

Have you tried importing them in Lightroom straight from the camera or the memory card? There is no reason to use NX Studio to copy them to the Mac first.

Sorry - it is working in that lightroom can see the camera but it stilll just says that the files are either not supported or damaged. Itmust be the former because its happening on two cameras with two different cards

Which version of Lightroom do you use? The Nikon Z8 has been supported since version 12.3, but pixel shift is not supported. Is that perhaps what you used?
