Is any one else having a issue where there is no toggle for HDR output when you go to export as. It seems to be on Jpg that dosent have it. AVIF has got the option but i dont want this format. I have done test on my IPad and this has got the HDR output toggle for JPG but don't see why Android wouldn't have it
The app is up to date to so no issue there

When you toggle HDR mode while editing, the output JPG file will have HDR tone maps. But, if you use a Samsung phone, there are some oddities to be aware of:
- Raw files from the Samsung camera, after being edited in Lightroom with HDR toggle on and exported as JPG , do have HDR tone maps. Both Google Photos and Samsung Gallery render these when viewing images.
- Raw files from a different source, edited with the HDR toggle on, do have HDR tone maps - but they don't show in the Samsung Gallery for some reason. They work just fine in Google Photos app, even showing "Ultra HDR" in image details. My guess is that Samsung does something weird in their gallery app.
- Normal pictures captured with a Samsung camera, when saved in the HEIC format (so not JPG), are HDR in the Samsung Gallery but Google Photos doesn't see them as HDR. If you don't use the HEIC format and save them as JPG, both Gallery and Photos see it and work fine.
Hope this helps!

Ok this seems to make sense but I don't think this is actually happening. In my test HDR tone maps don't seem to appear. The image only shows as flat image with out HDR applied when exported.
I have tested this on my pixel 9 xl pro. Also on a pixel 7 pro and pixel 6 pro. I have also tried different gallery apps in case the issue was with google photos not displaying them correctly.
If I export the files over to my iPad they don't have HDR tone map either but export again on the iPad lightroom it works as expected.

Don't know why it's not working for you. Here is a screenshot of a picture captured using my Sony camera, imported into Lightroom through PC. Then edited on my Galaxy S24, where I enabled the HDR toggle while editing and exported as JPG. Lastly I uploaded it into Google Photos (again all this on the phone).
I get the same result if I shoot raw on my phone, Google Photos sees the pictures as "Ultra HDR".
