Hi, I've been having the same issue from time to time on my Lightroom CC, but now I really need to fix this, I have more than 1700 raws. The file format is CR2 and lightroom doesn't seem to recognize those files. I just updated Lightroom to the latest version. Please help.

I later "resolved" the issue by transfering all of the raws to an external hard drive. Once I did that, Lightroom suddenly recognized all the files and imported them without a problem.
I'd still wish to resolve the issue because of its inconvenience.

I recently started having the same problem as the others in this thread, i resolved the issue by switching from "NTSC" to PAL mode on the camera. hope this helps.

I tried moving the photos I wanted to import from the CF card to an SSD before prompting the import dialogue menu but the issue persists and I cannot see any photos available to select for import.

I am having the same issue. I just downloaded lightroom 6.4 on my Macbook. I have never had this issue before and I did not change any of my camera settings and they are the exact same cards and card readers. I have done hundreds of imports this same way, but I have never had this problem. The only variable that has changed is I downloaded the newest version of lightroom and the problem appeared after that. I am importing the images from my Sony a7R IV from the stock SD cards. They are all RAW images.

Five years and no solution. I'm having the same issue. I am using the lastest version of Lightroom version 8 20241003 build (not Classic) on a PC two weeks ago. I'm extracting compressed raw photos (the format is CR3) from Canon R5MKII. I can work around this by downloading the photos from the camera to the PC and then uploading them, but why not fix this bug?

Hey @Beefoe! I totally get how frustrating that can be. I'm here to help! That "No images that can be imported were found in the selected source" message when trying to import photos from your camera is a known issue with Lightroom.
