No shutter sound in Lightroom Android app on Galaxy S9+

I cannot find how to turn on the shutter sound when pressing the shutter button to take an image using the camera within the Android Lightroom app on my Samsung Galaxy S9+.

The phones volume setting is turned up to the maximum setting for both 'Ringtone' and 'Media'.

If I use the default S9+ camera app, instead of the Lightroom app, I do hear the shutter sound every time I press the shutter button.

How do I set the Android Lightroom app (on a Samsung Galaxy S9+) to produce a sound each time the shutter button is pressed, within the camera function inside the Android Lightroom app?

Thanks.

Thanks Mohit.

Not good - every camera app I have used has an option to selectively turn on or off a shutter sound.

Please could you put this in as a requested option for the Lightroom Android app.

I'll put this as a comment in the rating for the app on Google Play.

Many thanks.

Hi FlyingRhodie,

We're really sorry for all the hassle. Do you see any sound option under the camera settings while using in Lightroom mobile app?

Since, how long you are facing this Or you have just noticed this issue? Could you please let us know the exact version of Lightroom mobile CC app you are using now?

Regards,

Mohit

Hi Mohit,

The camera settings, within the Lightroom Android app, doesn't show any sound option. There is a setting "Volume keys function" within the camera settings and the options for this are: Exposure Compensation, Capture, Zoom and None.

I have been using the app for sometime and the lack of a shutter sound has been there since I installed it on my Samsung S9+ in June.

The exact version of Lightroom Android is v3.5.2

Thanks.

Regards,

Frank
