When I try to switch local storage to an seagate external drive I get below message.
Oops! Unable to get the volume name for the specified location
Make sure you select a valid destination for your photos (such as an external hard drive, USB drive, etc).
I am using paragon to mount the drive (NTFS).
The pictures i want to import are on the same drive.
Any ideas?
Has the drive also been used on Windows. It may have been disconnected too quicky, possibly needing a repair in Disk Utility on Mac.

I know this is an aging thread, but - it was helpful, but I just discovered this issue documented here:
Known Issues in Lightroom CC - Known issues and workaround
Specifically this item on the page:
Storing or moving photos on local hard drive

I hope this gets fixed soon! All my external drives are NTFS...
