Original pictures to Cloud but work with Classic, possible?
Hello to all,
I have been using Lightroom (now Lr Classic CC) for several years, which as you know has recently launched the Cloud version "Lightroom CC". I have a licensed subscription for both software + 1tb of cloud space. I would like to understand if I can store the originals file to the cloud while continuing to use the "old" software that today more complete and has got more features that I need.
I thought to act this way, I do NOT migrate the catalog from Classic to the new CC but I continue to use the old Classic normally with synchronization enabled for Lightroom CC, I will import the new photos to Lr CC that at this point will send them in Cloud and then will always download them from the network in the Classic CC, so the original file will also be in local disk.
It 'a boring procedure. I also believe that in the new Lightroom CC it has to "deactivate" the local writing of the archive, otherwise it would store twice space on disk.
It's ok? If it's ok for new import... how I can send to cloud my old archive??
