App updates are starting to roll out today, which add support for iPhone 14 models with the new Adobe Camera Raw that's part of Lightroom.  Check the Lightroom app listing in your mobile app store to see if the update is available yet for your device.

Hi Charlie, I'm actually still seeing this issue? Anytime I try to use one of my profiles it either pushes the exposure down around 2 stops - or - pushes it up around 2 stops. I'm seeing this consistently across all of my devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac).

Question everything generally thought to be obvious.

Hi @Pj Smith

Sorry I missed your reply here.  Your issue with presets is different than the issue described in this thread.

My recommendation is to write up a new post, please describe your steps for import and edit, which profile you are applying in Lightroom's Import settings (camera default, raw default, or some other profile).  It would help if you could include a source image, and also attach a screenshot of the exposure issue you see in the app.  A fresh post with all these details will help you get a helpful response.  Thanks!

All RAW images look different depending on the application with which it is opened.
There is no rigid standard for creating or interpreting RAW. This involves different interpretations of RAW. In addition, in the case of Apple, there could be great differences.

Hallo Zusammen

Hello @Alexander26489100v2q1

I can not say what date.  I can only say "soon."

As best as I can tell, it is limited to images shot in Apple ProRaw and imported to LR (or any other post editing app) as DNG.  Those captured as jpg don't send to be impacted.

@Michael22490198us02

Thanks for reaching out.  LR iOS current app released before Adobe enabled support for the new iPhone 14 devices.  You should see this improve with the next release.

For now does the image quality appear to improve if you manually apply Apple Pro Raw profile and perhaps also 'Auto' settings in Edit mode?

Yes, thank you.  It does help.  Would you mind helping me understand..  If I capture a RAW image in iPhone 14 pro and view/edit it another editing app, meaning the image hasn't yet been opened in LR, I see the same underexposure issue.  That would lead me to believe it is an Apple issue.  Can you explain?

I'm seeing the same. Images properly exposed in 14 Pro are are imported with about -2 EV

I thought it might have been HDR setting in iPhone but confirmed that's off.

The underexpose is being applied by Apple algorithms.  I see the same issue when images captured by the iPhone are viewed for edit in apps other than LR.

Hi @stefanbiba

Thanks for taking the time to report this.  The issue should be resolved with the next app update.  For now, does it help if you apply the Apple Pro Raw profile (Edit view)?

Hi @Charlie.D
Thank you for your fast response and the information. Yes, it is a good workaround but the pictures gets overexposed so I had to correct this behaviour. I hope the next update is coming soon 🙂
