P: Lightroom is not letting me import photos due to "Insufficient Storage Space"- there is plenty.

For the past few months, I have been encouting issues where Lightroom will not let me import photos dispite there being plently of room on the volume.  This is makeing Lightroom unuasble.

Greetings all,

 

Updates for the Adobe Photography Products have been released.  The October 2023 updates contain a fix for this issue. 

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Running Mac OS Sonoma on Macbook pro with M1 Max chip. 

 

Lightroom won't allow me to import 50gb of photos saying I don't have enough disk space.... but I have nearly 500gb free.

 

I can't seem to find a work around.
