P: Panning stutter when mouse polling rate is over 125hz

Community Beginner ,

Hello, I hope this information reaches Lightroom engineers at Adobe.

Lightroom CC 7.5 stutters when panning with a mouse polling rate set over 125hz, using an Nvidia graphics card for acceleration. It works smoothly when set at 125hz or below. This is only an issue when graphics acceleration is used.

Windows 11 23H2 Build 22631.4169

Nvidia RTX 4080 Driver 561.09

I would appreciate if this was confirmed and planned for fixing. Please understand that it is very annoying to have to switch to lower polling rate just to use Lightroom.

It would also be very appreciated if any workaround was provided until it is fixed.

Hi Edgaras, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We weren't aware of this. What kind of mouse are you using?

Tested with a Logitech G PRO X Superlight and a Keychon M3 Mini. Whenever the mouse is set to any polling rate above 125hz (be it 500hz, or 1000hz, or 2000hz, or 4000hz), panning freezes up on mouse movement, very clearly refusing to accept this kind of input frequency. Works fine when mouse polling is set to 125hz or below.

Are there any potential dates when we can download the fixed version? Or a beta version earlier?

I am honestly quite surprised with actual dev team attention here. Thanks for this, I feel quite a lot more respect towards Adobe as a company because of this.
