Bonjour,

Did I get it right that you used the direct import via SD card from within Lightroom and not photos app?
If so,  have you tried to double check the Imports album if they are listed here?

Hope to get a clue about your issue soon.

You've got it right. I used the import function directly in the Lightroom application and then I used the Files application to delete the photos from the SD card.

I've just checked the "Imports" tab and unfortunately they're not there.

Hopefully there's a way to find them.

Hello @Jules38361967f1v2

It sounds like you are familiar with Lightroom iOS Direct Import, how to use this feature, et cetera.

If the file import truly completed, of course the images should show in the app.  I wonder if you can access the files by browsing the Lightroom app's cache.  Please see this help page for information:
https://helpx.adobe.com/nz/lightroom-classic/kb/recover-lightroom-mobile-photos-itunes-file-sharing....

...Do you find the missing images there?

If not, you should try using a file recovery tool with your SD card.  I have had success with this after accidentally doing a quick format of my own SD memory.  As part of Adobe, I cannot formally recommend any specific tool.  I simply recommend you web search "How to restore deleted files on SD Card" and try the option that looks best to you.

Going back to the original problem here, I just tried importing 150 raw images, and this worked OK for me.  Can you share more info?

- How many images did you import?

- What camera captured the images, and what file type & file size are they?

- How much free storage is does your device have?

Thank you,

Charlie
