Photos stopped syncing to LR from iPhone camera roll

Running LR (not Classic) on MacBook and LR mobile on iPhone here.
718 images of 19500 pre-existing images on iPhone have synced but then it quit.

New images sync fine.
Signing out of LR on both devices and restarting on both devices hasn't helped.

On the iPhone go to Settings >> Import

You should be able to activate auto-add from camera roll for photos, videos or both.

Yes it’s set to auto-add from camera roll (photos only). Tried turning it
off then on again without any luck.
